Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 12 August 2026
Purpose
This policy protects merchants, customers, third parties, and the reliability of YoopCart. It applies to all accounts, stores, content, APIs, integrations, and use of the Services.
Illegal, harmful, or deceptive activity
You may not use YoopCart to break applicable law; facilitate fraud, scams, money laundering, terrorism, trafficking, exploitation, or evasion of sanctions; impersonate others; misrepresent products or transactions; or interfere with investigations and lawful requests.
Prohibited content and conduct
You may not publish or distribute content that exploits or endangers children, promotes non-consensual intimate imagery, incites violence or hatred against protected groups, makes credible threats, unlawfully harasses, violates privacy, or infringes intellectual property. Content that is merely controversial is not prohibited unless it violates this policy or law.
Regulated and dangerous products
Products and services must be lawful in every place where they are offered or delivered. Weapons, controlled substances, unsafe products, gambling, financial products, medical claims, adult services, alcohol, tobacco, and other regulated categories may be restricted, require documented approval, or be prohibited. Payment and shipping partners may impose additional rules.
Platform and security abuse
You may not introduce malware, probe or bypass security, access data without authorisation, overload services, scrape contrary to technical controls, send spam, manipulate metrics or reviews, abuse trials, resell access without permission, or use the Services to attack another system. Security research requires prior written authorisation.
Enforcement
We may investigate using automated signals and human review, request information, limit a feature, remove content, suspend processing, or terminate an account when proportionate to the risk. Urgent action may occur without advance notice. Where legally and operationally possible, we provide reasons and a way to appeal. Repeated or severe violations may lead to permanent termination and referral to authorities.
Reporting
Report suspected violations to abuse@yoopcart.com with the store URL, relevant page or item, evidence, and your contact details. Do not include unnecessary sensitive personal data.
