What cookies are

Cookies and similar storage technologies are small data items stored or read by a browser or device. They can remember a session, protect a sign-in, retain preferences, measure performance, or support optional integrations.

Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary technologies support security, authentication, load balancing, fraud prevention, consent records, and core site functions. They cannot normally be disabled through our controls.
  • Preference technologies remember language, region, interface, and accessibility choices.
  • Analytics technologies help us understand aggregate use, reliability, and navigation. Where required, they operate only after consent.
  • Marketing or embedded-content technologies may measure campaigns or enable third-party media and social features. Where required, they operate only after consent.

Merchant storefronts

Each merchant determines optional technologies used on its storefront and must provide its own notice and consent controls. YoopCart may set necessary storefront technologies to maintain carts, checkout state, security, language, and consent preferences. Apps, payment gateways, and other integrations may set technologies under their own policies.

Duration and controls

Session technologies expire when the browser session ends. Persistent technologies remain for the period shown in the consent interface or until deleted. You can use YoopCart consent controls, browser settings, or device settings to reject or delete optional technologies. Blocking necessary technologies may prevent sign-in, checkout, or security functions.

The exact technology inventory can change as services evolve; the consent interface should show the current categories and providers. Questions may be sent to privacy@yoopcart.com.

Partner referral storage

When you follow a partner referral link, YoopCart checks the public code and retains the selected referral for the current browser session so it can accompany your registration. We store a referral reference, the public partner code and an expiry time. This reference does not sign you in or grant access to an account.

You may choose **Remember for 30 days** to retain that reference on this device between visits, until the original referral window ends. Following another link does not extend the window. You can remove the referral using **Remove** in the referral notice or registration form. You can also clear your browser's site storage. Removing the reference before submission prevents it from being attached to your registration. A code can be entered manually without choosing persistent storage.

After you submit registration with a referral, its code and origin become part of the server-side registration and eligibility record. Clearing browser storage afterwards does not reverse a recorded business relationship or change commission already earned. Unattached expired referral records are removed within seven days after expiry; attached registration records follow the registration retention policy and financial evidence follows the programme's existing retention policy. Referral processing does not require a raw IP address, a full user-agent history or browser fingerprinting. Existing abuse prevention and service logging remain governed by the platform privacy policy.

The code identifies the referring partner and does not grant a discount. A referral does not expose an unverified registration or another partner's customer details to the referring partner. The 30-day referral window is separate from the partner's commission duration.

Съществуващата защита от злоупотреби и служебните логове остават подчинени на политиката за поверителност.
