EU Platform Terms and Legal Notice

Scope

This page supplements the Merchant Terms for business users established in the European Economic Area where mandatory platform-to-business or digital-services rules apply. It also provides a central legal contact for YoopCart services.

Restrictions, suspension, and termination

YoopCart may restrict content, features, payments, distribution, or accounts for legal requirements, security risk, non-payment, policy breach, or harm to users or the platform. Except where urgent action, law, fraud prevention, or security requires otherwise, we provide a statement of reasons and an opportunity to remedy or challenge the decision. Merchant termination rights remain as described in the Merchant Terms and order form.

Ranking and marketplace visibility

Marketplace and discovery results may consider relevance to a query, compatibility, category, quality and completeness, security status, merchant eligibility, availability, price, popularity, recency, ratings, and editorial placement. Paid prominence, if introduced, will be labelled. Operators can edit catalogue data, but may not manipulate ranking deceptively.

Data access

Merchants can access their store and operational data through the Services and available exports. YoopCart accesses data to provide, secure, support, improve, and comply with law as described in the Terms, Privacy Policy, and DPA. Other merchants do not receive identifiable merchant or customer data except through an authorised transaction or integration.

Internal complaints and mediation

Business users may send a complaint about a restriction, technical issue, ranking, marketplace decision, or account action to legal@yoopcart.com. Include the account, store, decision or incident, dates, evidence, and requested outcome. We will acknowledge and review complaints within a reasonable period. Mandatory mediation or out-of-court dispute rights remain available where applicable.

The YoopCart contracting entity and registration information are identified on the applicable order form, invoice, or subscription checkout. Legal notices may be sent to legal@yoopcart.com. Requests from public authorities should identify the authority, legal basis, scope, account or content, urgency, and an official reply channel. Nothing on this page limits mandatory rights under EU or national law.
