Intellectual Property Policy
Last updated: 12 August 2026
Our approach
YoopCart respects valid intellectual property rights and expects merchants, developers, and users to do the same. We may remove or restrict content after a sufficiently complete and credible notice, notify the affected account where lawful, consider a response or counter-notice, and terminate repeat or egregious infringers in appropriate circumstances.
Reporting infringement
Send a notice to legal@yoopcart.com containing your legal name and contact details; identification of the protected work, mark, or right; direct URLs for the original material where available; direct URLs and a clear description of each allegedly infringing item; the legal basis of the claim; a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorised; a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised agent; and a physical or electronic signature.
Responses and counter-notices
An affected user may respond with identification of removed content, an explanation and evidence showing authorisation, licence, exception, mistake, or misidentification, contact details, legally required declarations, and a signature. We may share notices and responses with the affected parties and service providers as necessary to administer the process.
Abuse and other rights
False, misleading, or bad-faith notices can cause harm and may create legal liability. Trademark, trade dress, privacy, image-right, and other claims should identify the specific right, jurisdiction, registration where relevant, likely confusion or harm, and exact content at issue. This process does not replace court or regulator remedies.
