Marketplace Partner Terms
Last updated: 12 August 2026
1. Partner participation
These terms apply when a developer, designer, agency, or other partner submits or distributes an app, plugin, theme, integration, or service through the YoopCart marketplace. Participation is subject to review and does not guarantee listing, placement, sales, or continued availability.
2. Submission requirements
Listings and packages must be accurate, functional, compatible, secure, documented, supported, and free from hidden behaviour. Partners must disclose pricing, renewals, dependencies, data access, external accounts, material limitations, and support terms. Reviews, installs, and claims may not be manipulated.
3. Security and merchant data
Partners must request minimum permissions, use merchant data only for the authorised product, maintain appropriate security, notify incidents promptly, support deletion and export obligations, and comply with the API Terms and applicable privacy law. Credentials, telemetry, and customer data may not be sold or reused for unrelated advertising or profiling.
4. Intellectual property
Partners retain rights in their submissions and grant YoopCart the rights necessary to review, host, reproduce, scan, test, market, distribute, and demonstrate them. Partners warrant that they have all necessary rights and that submissions do not infringe third-party rights or deceptively imitate YoopCart or another product.
5. Commercial terms
Prices, commissions, settlement timing, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, currency conversion, trials, renewals, and licence rules are governed by the marketplace commercial schedule shown during onboarding or in a separate agreement. Partners are responsible for their taxes and valid payout information.
6. Quality, enforcement, and appeals
YoopCart may test, scan, classify, rank, reject, delist, suspend, or require remediation for security, quality, legal, support, compatibility, or policy reasons. Urgent risk may require immediate action. Where appropriate, partners receive reasons and may appeal with evidence through legal@yoopcart.com.
7. Termination and transition
Either party may end participation under the applicable notice period. On removal, the partner must continue any promised support or transition obligations, stop new distribution when directed, protect existing merchant data, and follow deletion requirements. Terms intended to survive, including confidentiality, data protection, accrued payment, and intellectual property obligations, remain effective.
