Accept payments through Stripe Checkout while keeping the payment form hosted by Stripe. Customers leave the store to complete payment and return afterwards; verified Stripe notifications update the order. Your store does not handle customers’ card details.

Setup

Connect your Stripe account through the store’s payment settings. Configure the webhook signing secret, choose your capture behavior and run a test payment and refund before enabling live payments.

Requirements & dependencies

A Stripe account eligible for your business and country, API credentials and a reachable webhook endpoint. Available payment methods and currencies depend on your Stripe account.

Limitations

Stripe transaction fees and account requirements apply separately from the plugin license. Returning to the store is not proof of payment; order confirmation follows the verified payment result.
